The sun is finally back! It was another rainy day yesterday, but now the sun and 80's are supposed to stick around. I'm in desperate need for vitamin D, and I plan to go sit outside ASAP and read my Bikram book.
Today was class 46 of my practice, class 11 in 11 days.
Today I was more focused. I really tried to concentrate on my breathing, especially during postures. In Bikram's book, he talks about 80/20 breathing; only exhaling 20% of your breath during certain postures after the initial inhalation. I tried this technique during the backward bend, and camel, and it seemed to help. If anything, the concentration on my breathing kept the voice in my head from yelling at me {this is hard, are we done yet? Say 'change!'} After class, my instructor asked how I am feeling after all these classes in a row. I think that I'm feeling pretty good! It's part of my morning routine now, although some mornings I just do not feel like leaving at 8:35am to get to class, but I go anyway.
Hopefully everyone is having a good Tuesday so far. I'm off to soak up the sun.
