Movin’ on forward [literally]

Day 40 of my Bikram Yoga practice, day 5 in a row:
I challenged myself today, and went in the front row in the hot room for the first time ever {I was insipired by the Bikram 101 blog}. I have always gone in the back right row, so it was quite a big deal for me to be in the front right instead. To sum it up; it was GREAT. I felt focused, and really in-tune with my body.  I went the farthest into standing bow that I ever have before. My body was parallel to the floor on the first side, and on the second side I actually saw my foot begin to peek over my head which usually only happens on the first side. I gladly stayed in savasana after class for over 5 minutes, which can be hard when I have other things running through my head. Each day feels better, although certainly not easier. My mind just felt calm.

After class, a friend of mine [who I haven't seen in 6 months] was parked right beside me. It was a nice surprise, and once she came out to her car after her appointment at a building in the complex, we got to chat and catch up. Then, I went to the store after class, and spent $33.33 exactly. Now, this may not seem exciting, except that I am obsessed with the number 3. It put a smile on my face.

My kettlebell workout last night kicked my butt! We did a total of 24 minutes of swings, with lots of push up, pull ups, core moves, and plank moves mixed in.

Here's to another great day. Namaste.
