Today was class 47 of my practice, class 12 in 12 days.
The sun is still here; it makes getting up in the morning much easier. I went to yoga this morning and there were only 6 of us practicing. I was the first one in the room, so I claimed a front-left spot. No biggie, but this was my official move from right to left side of the room. It was great, because I was directly in front of the side mirror, and I could actually see myself in the left side mirrors during the side postures. I’m usually on the complete opposite side of the room, so this was a nice transition for me this morning. Funny how those little things really matter sometimes.
I felt pretty good after yoga, so I decided to go with my mom to the noon kettlebell workout. I had gone to kettlebells last night for the Monday/Tuesday workout. Well, let’s just say it was a challenge today. I felt good, but as soon as we started squatting, and swinging, I realized my body was still tired. It was a great workout, and I feel great now after doing it, but all my workouts have definitely added up.
I’ve gotten through the part with the postures in Bikram’s book. It is nice to have more information on the postures. I’ve also been enjoying reading other blogs, and I have found so many regarding Bikram Yoga. It's nice to have that outside outlet, where I can learn and hear other's experiences and tips.
